I’ve been editing some of the videos of Jeannie Marsh (singer & composer) performing the mesostic poems I wrote about the trees at the Bundanon Trust. It was a very windy day and I only had my compact camera, so the quality is not the best. That said, it’s good to see & hear them performed. If you want to see more videos or read the original poems, click here.

The Weeping Willow tree (or Salix babylonica) is originally mentioned in the Bible
“By the rivers of Babylon we sat down and wept when we remembered Zion. There on the willow-trees we hung up our lyres.” (Psalm 137),
however it was later generally agreed by scholars & historians that it was a Poplar, not a Willow.
